Anolis carolinensis - Both of these mating lizards are the same species; the male is presently in its green phase while the female is in its brown phase. Also, the female is displaying a little bit of green near where the males legs come in contact with her. During mating, the male lizard keeps the female still by gripping onto a fold of skin on the back of her neck.
